But if you are looking for a faster charging time, then the UE Boom 3 is better as it recharges the battery within 2.5 hours. So, in the case of battery life, the JBL Charge 4 is the right choice. But the UE Boom 3 has a charge time of 2.5 hours, whereas the JBL Charge 4 has a charge time of 5.5 hours. On the other hand, the UE Boom 3 has a run time of 15 hours. Even considering the volume and the usage, the battery life is a perfect feature. So, the next time you go camping we are pretty sure it will be helpful. So, between the two, the JBL Charge 4 has a run time of 20 hours, that’s a lot of time you can go without charging. For this, we require a speaker with extended run time. The battery life of a speaker is essential if you are taking your speakers with you for a camping trip, or a party or anywhere where there are no sockets to charge. So, it means you can listen to your favorite music without any interruptions and even change tracks from a long distance. That’s a massive difference between the UE Boom 4 and the JBL Charge 4. However, the UE Boom 4 has a Bluetooth range of up to 150 ft. The field limits you being near to your speaker all the time if you want music without any interruptions. The JBL Charge 4 works with a Bluetooth range of 30ft. But there is a difference in the range on which they operate. Both speakers can be functioned through Bluetooth. But the feature is only available in Apple Music on iOS and Deezer Premium in Android. However, the UE Boom 3 has a unique feature called as “Magic” button. There are buttons on both the device where you can” control the music, turn the device on or off, play, and pause the songs.
