12/18/2023 0 Comments Euphoria wellness![]() ![]() This had previously been one of my favorite spots, but I don’t think I’ll be going back!ĭeborah is refreshingly knowledgeable and helpful I have nothing but wonderful things to say.įirst off, I love spas. It’s too expensive to have had such an overall unsatisfying experience. I also only got a small cup of water as I left when they used to provide you with an entire bottle. After 90 minutes, I shouldn’t have to ask for more time to be spent on my back, but I did because my husband had spent good money on this massage. The areas that most people want you to focus on most - back, shoulders, feet - by far got the least amount of attention. She spent an absurd amount of time massaging my scalp, even stroking my hair, which was unnecessary, then didn’t spend enough time on any other part of my body. It was more disappointing than the other. So this time i went with Teresa, hoping for a better experience. Deborah is still listed but when I called, they said she has retired from massage. They’ve significantly reduced their staff so there’s not much to choose from. Found out they only have 2 massage therapists now. My husband bought me the same massage for Mother’s Day and I was looking forward to it. My feet were sore in the days that followed. ![]() When I went in December 2020, the back massage was fantastic, but the massage therapist dug into my feet so hard that it hurt and didn’t improve much when I asked her to lighten up. Both times I had paid for the 90-minute therapeutic massage. When you’re spending $120 for a massage, you should leave satisfied. However, my last 2 visits, both within the past 6 months, were a major disappointment. I will be getting my massages elsewhere from now on.A few years ago, I went to Euphoria and loved it. But that was extremely rude and uncalled for, and was the last straw in the little condescending attitudes I had noticed at this spa centre. And I can understand if they were busy or frustrated or whatever, we are all human. I completely understand if they were booking more ahead right now than they were before the holidays. Now I have worked in customer service multiple times throughout my life. I hear another laugh on the other end and then I was hung up on. She didn't say anything after that so I inquired about possibly the Wednesday, or if there were any openings within the coming week. ![]() Half a second later I hear a dramatic keyboard click and she says "nope, as I said. The receptionist laughed and said she doubts it but she'll check. When I called today, I asked if there were any openings on Monday (five days ahead). Due to the nature of my work, I sometimes don't know my schedule until a few days before, so when booking a massage I will call and ask for whatever available masseuse they have on the earliest day, and this has never been a problem before, I simply fill in empty spots within a week or so from the date. I never had any complaints before today, however, when I was trying to book my next massage. I am someone who has coverage through her work insurance and goes here every few weeks for a pampering, and it's apparent that they buy into the upper-class extravagance culture, with a Starbucks on site and eucalyptus steam rooms and saunas in the change rooms. However, with most high priced places, there is an obvious sense of superiority. It is a bit highly priced, but as soon as you walk in you can tell you're also paying for the atmosphere and service. I've been going to this spa for a few months now for regular massages. ![]()
